1. About PrepAlpine

PrepAlpine is an education platform designed to support aspirants preparing for UPSC and other competitive examinations through:

• Research-driven academic content
• Structured mentorship programs
• AI-assisted practice and feedback tools
• Community-based academic engagement etc

PrepAlpine is not a coaching institute, does not conduct classroom teaching, and does not guarantee
selection, rank, or exam outcomes.

2. Eligibility & User Account

i. Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must:

• Be 18 years or older, or have parental/guardian consent
• Be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement
• Provide accurate and complete registration information

ii. Account Responsibility

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You must not share your account with others
• Any activity performed using your account is deemed to be done by you

PrepAlpine reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in misuse or violation of these Terms.

3. Nature of Services

PrepAlpine provides:

• Digital study material and learning resources
• Mentorship sessions (group-based and limited one-to-one, as per plan)
• AI-powered practice, diagnostics, and feedback tools
• Community interaction platforms (e.g., Discord or equivalent)

All services are supportive and facilitative in nature and do not replace individual effort,
discipline, or independent study.

4. No Guarantee of Results

PrepAlpine does not guarantee:

• Selection in UPSC or any examination
• Specific outcomes due to use of content, mentorship, or AI tools

Exam success depends on multiple factors beyond PrepAlpine’s control, including individual effort,
consistency, aptitude, and exam conditions.

5. Subscription Plans & Access

i. Plan Structure

PrepAlpine offers multiple plans (Free, Foundation, Pro, Elite), each with defined inclusions,
usage limits, and validity periods.

ii. Access Rights

• Access is granted only for the duration of the subscribed plan
• Features vary by plan; higher plans do not alter base content quality
• Unused features or sessions do not carry forward

6. Payments & Pricing

• All prices are displayed transparently on the Platform
• Payments must be made in full before access is granted
• PrepAlpine may revise pricing for future enrollments (not retroactively)

Taxes, if applicable, are borne by the user.

7. Refund & Cancellation Policy

i. No-Refund Policy

Once access to digital content, mentorship scheduling, or AI tools is provided, no refunds are permitted, including but not limited to:

• Change of mind
• Time constraints
• Personal dissatisfaction
• Non-usage

This policy exists because digital access and mentor resources are allocated immediately.

ii. Exceptions

Refunds may be considered only if:

• Payment was deducted but access was not provided due to a verified technical failure from PrepAlpine’s side

All such cases are reviewed individually, and decisions are final.

8. Mentorship Terms

• Mentorship is guidance-oriented, not instructional teaching
• Sessions are scheduled and conducted as per plan structure
• Missed sessions due to user absence are not rescheduled or refunded
• Mentor assignment may change due to availability or operational needs

Mentors are not obligated to provide personal contact details or on-demand assistance.

9. AI Tools & Practice Systems

• AI tools are assistive technologies, not decision-makers
• Outputs are based on patterns, models, and PrepAlpine content databases
• AI feedback is indicative, not definitive or authoritative

Users must apply independent judgment and mentor guidance while using AI tools.

10. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, including but not limited to:

• Notes, PDFs, videos, visuals
• Practice questions and explanations
• AI outputs and frameworks
• Mentorship materials and methodologies

are the exclusive intellectual property of PrepAlpine.

You may NOT:

• Share, copy, resell, distribute, or upload content publicly
• Use content for commercial or institutional purposes
• Share login credentials or allow third-party access

Violation may lead to immediate termination without refund and legal action.

11. Community Conduct

• Maintain respectful and academic behaviour
• Avoid harassment, abuse, spam, or misinformation
• Not solicit, advertise, or promote external services

PrepAlpine may remove content or users without prior notice to preserve community quality.

12. Data Privacy

User data is handled in accordance with applicable Indian data protection laws and PrepAlpine’s Privacy Policy.

PrepAlpine does not sell personal data to third parties.

13. Platform Availability

• The Platform is provided on a best-effort basis
• Temporary downtime may occur due to maintenance or upgrades
• PrepAlpine is not liable for losses due to service interruptions beyond reasonable control

14. Termination of Access

PrepAlpine may suspend or terminate access if:

• These Terms are violated
• Fraud, misuse, or abuse is detected
• Legal or regulatory compliance requires it

No refunds are applicable upon termination for violations.

15. Limitation of Liability

PrepAlpine shall not be liable for:

• Exam outcomes or academic results
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
• Decisions taken solely based on AI outputs or mentorship advice

Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the relevant plan.

16. Modifications to Terms

PrepAlpine may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Platform after changes
constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in SAS Nagar, Punjab.
