1. Scope of This Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all purchases, subscriptions, and payments made on
PrepAlpine through Razorpay or any other authorized payment gateway.

PrepAlpine is a digital education and mentorship platform. All services are delivered electronically
and/or through scheduled online mentorship sessions.

2. Nature of Services

PrepAlpine provides:

  • Immediate access to digital academic content
  • Allocation of mentorship capacity
  • Access to AI-powered practice tools and platform infrastructure

Because services are digitally delivered and provisioned instantly, refunds are limited and governed
strictly by this policy.

3. Cancellation Policy

User-Initiated Cancellation

  • Users may stop using the platform at any time.
  • Cancellation of usage does not result in cancellation of the subscription.
  • Fees already paid are non-refundable, whether used fully, partially, or not used at all.
  • Access will remain active until the end of the purchased plan validity unless terminated under
    policy violations.
4. Refund Policy

i. General Rule — No Refund After Access

Once payment is successfully completed and access is granted:
No refunds (full or partial) are provided under normal circumstances.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Change of mind after purchase
  • Personal schedule changes
  • Exam postponement or attempt changes
  • Dissatisfaction after accessing content
  • Partial usage of services

ii. Exceptional Refunds (Limited & Discretionary)

Refunds may be considered only in the following exceptional cases:

  • Payment successfully completed but access not provided due to a verified technical error from
    PrepAlpine’s side.
  • Duplicate or excess payment made due to a payment gateway malfunction.

Conditions:

  • Refund requests must be raised within 7 days of payment.
  • Valid proof (transaction ID, screenshots, payment confirmation) must be provided.
  • Approval is solely at the discretion of PrepAlpine.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method via Razorpay.
  • Processing timelines depend on Razorpay and the issuing bank (typically 5–10 working days).
5. No Trial for Paid Plans

PrepAlpine does not offer a paid trial period.

To enable informed decisions:

  • A Free Plan is provided for evaluation of content quality and approach.
  • Users are advised to review plan details carefully before making payment.
6. Plan Upgrades & Downgrades
  • Upgrades are allowed anytime, with proportionate fee adjustment.
  • Downgrades are not permitted mid-cycle.
  • No refunds are issued for downgrade requests.
7. Termination Due to Policy Violations

PrepAlpine reserves the right to suspend or terminate access without refund if a user:

  • Shares login credentials
  • Redistributes content
  • Misuses mentorship interactions
  • Abuses AI tools or platform infrastructure
  • Violates academic or community guidelines

Such termination does not entitle the user to any refund.

8. Chargebacks & Dispute Resolution
  • Users are encouraged to contact PrepAlpine support first for any payment-related concerns.
  • Initiating a chargeback without prior communication may result in account suspension pending
    investigation.
  • PrepAlpine will submit transaction logs, access records, and policy documents to Razorpay in case
    of disputes.
9. Payment Security
  • Payments are processed through Razorpay’s secure infrastructure.
  • PrepAlpine does not store sensitive card or UPI details.
  • All transactions are encrypted and PCI-DSS compliant as per Razorpay standards.
10. Policy Updates

PrepAlpine reserves the right to update this policy to comply with:

  • Razorpay requirements
  • Legal or regulatory changes
  • Operational improvements

Updates will be published on the website. Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of the
updated policy.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This policy is governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction specified in PrepAlpine’s Terms of Use.

Payments are non-refundable once digital access is granted, except in verified technical or payment-error cases.
